The Elpas Personnel Identity Badge (PBA) is a quad-tech Active RFID Tag that provides wireless monitoring and tracking of workers that may be at-risk of workplace related attacks or injuries. 

The Badge bundles four signaling technologies in a field proven design to deliver precise Real-Time Location System (RTLS) data in addition to proximity ID key functionality for use with legacy access control systems. 

The Badge's distinctive form factor makes it usable as a photo ID personnel badge. When inserted into its corresponding card holder (sold separately), the badge may be bundled with ISO standard credentials and worn either horizontally (landscape format) or vertically (portrait format). 

The Badge features two programmable buttons for transmitting preconfigured messages/commands or for manual duress alerting should the user perceive a personal threat. This data is used by RTLS applications or integrated with legacy security systems for faster and more effective response efforts. 

The Badge also delivers instant near-exit, sub-room or hallway location awareness for administering staff/patient/guest escort procedures in addition to triggering near-exit security alert response protocols.
