The Elpas Mother Bracelet is a wrist worn active RFID tag which brings important functionality to the Elpas Infant Protection Solution. When the bracelet is paired with the Elpas Infant Protection Charm, it provides simple, local Mother/Baby match tests. Having a secure and easy way to verify the Mother/Baby pair prevents accidental baby switching.

The Mother Bracelet, when used as part of the Infant Protection System creates immediate near-exit location awareness and prevents unauthorized transfers of infants into or out of protected areas. Once the Mother/Infant pair is made, only the mother or staff can escort her baby out of these areas.

The Mother Bracelet may also provide around-the-clock monitoring for mothers who are also medical patients in the maternity wards. The Quad-Tech Bracelet bundles Real-Time Location System (RTLS) technologies to deliver precise real-time positioning data so that Eiris, our host RTLS safety application, can track the mother anywhere within the facility.
